R 028 - Platter with lizard.
Porcelain inlaid with black clay knotwork. These patterns are taken up after those that cover the Saint Porchaire ware of the first period. The lizard is another allusion to the promoters of the 16th century "rustic" style, it was modelled out of golden clay and glaze-stuck on the platter. ō = 31,5 cm.
