One side of the production of the Miroir aux PrÍles is characterised by bigger vessels that offer endless variations on the theme of twisted sharp fluting, of slanting swollen gadroons, of cabled vertical rhythms. Always hand-modelled, these pieces show either a rusty grainy unglazed stoneware body or a rich shiny thick celadon glaze. Unless specified otherwise, all the following pieces were fired at 1260įC in a reducing atmosphere.

This is not a catalogue.  This is a limited selection of works produced then, amongst many others. Most pieces presented here (not all of them) have been sold, or even sometimes destroyed. All the following images are active : click on them to get a larger version and a description.
